Lauren is currently a 4th-year medical student at Stanford University, where she is pursuing a joint MD/MA in Education. Lauren hopes to work towards improving physician competency in caring for people with intellectual disabilities through improving the accessibility and quality of disability-focused clinical training. She currently serves as the Education/Well-Being Representative of the Association of Academic Physiatrists Medical Student Council (AAP-MSC) and the Co-Chair for the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry (AADMD) Student/Resident Committee. She previously graduated with her BS and MHA from the University of Southern California, where she was a fellow in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) Program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
