Spasticity Master Course Workshop

This course is designed for clinicians who wish to learn advanced knowledge and new development in spasticity management. Interactive didactic lectures cover the following topics: is spasticity a syndrome? How is it different from other types of hypertonia? Best multimodal approach for spasticity management? and is spasticity fellowship needed? new advances include new nerve block drug (SL-1002 trial), recently approved new botulinum toxin A, and updates in cryoneurolysis for spasticity management. Special consideration in management of spasticity after SCI. The attendees will have hands-on training on ultrasound-guided nerve blocks with phenol and cyroneurolysis.
