Dr. Isabel Huang, MD, is a pain management specialist and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is dedicated to treating musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative conditions, neuropathic pain, and hypermobility syndromes. With a patient-centered approach, Dr. Huang blends non-operative treatments with advanced therapies such as ultrasound-guided injections to enhance precision and minimize complications. A leader in her field, she also serves as the Medical Director of The Hypermobility Clinic, where she provides comprehensive care for individuals with conditions like Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Outside of her clinical duties, Dr. Huang is actively involved in teaching and research, focusing on female physician wellness and early mobilization in intensive care units. She is a committed advocate for conservative pain relief methods and believes in treating the whole person, not just their symptoms. In her free time, Dr. Huang enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and nurturing her spiritual growth.
