Nathan J. Rudin, MD, MA is Professor of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Madison, Wisconsin. He is an active clinician, author, and teacher whose practice primarily focuses on the diagnosis and management of chronic pain, with a special interest in hypermobility disorders such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Dr. Rudin has been recognized by trainees and peers for his mentorship, teaching, compassion, and concern for patients' quality of life. He has served as Medical Director of UW Health's Pain and Headache Clinics, President of the Medical Staff Board of UW Hospitals and Clinics, and President of the Midwest Pain Society. He currently directs an effort to improve the evaluation and treatment of hypermobile patients at UW Health.
