Kian Nassiri, DO is a Brain Injury Physiatrist at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and Assistant Professor at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. Originally from the Bay Area of Northern California, he received a BS in Physiology and Neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego then completed medical school at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. He completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. His current academic interests include the full spectrum of traumatic brain injury, spasticity management, hypoxic ishemic/non-traumatic brain injury, disorders of consciousness, and medical education.
