Christa Nnoromele, MD, Assistant Profressor University of Louisville, Associate Program Director at University of Louisville PM&R Residency Program
Dr. Nnoromele grew up in Richmond, Kentucky/Central Kentucky. Upon graduation from high school, Christa attended Rice University in Houston, TX and obtained a BA in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology. She completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, followed by PM&R residency at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. She completed her Spinal Cord Injury Medicine Fellowship at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Nnoromele is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and subspeciality boarded in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine. She is current an Assistant Professor within the Department of Neurosurgery, Division of PM&R at the University of Louisville/Frazier Brain and Spine Institute. She also was recently named as the Associate Program Director for the PM&R Residency Program at the University of Louisville. Dr. Nnoromele has many clinical interests including neurological disorders and reproductive health, women's health, social determinants of health, and education initiatives for both trainees and patients to improve patient care.
