Kayleigh Crane is a third-year medical student at Central Michigan University. She hails from Fishers, Indiana, and graduated from Oklahoma State University in the spring of 2019 with a degree in Animal Science. She plans to graduate from Central Michigan University in 2026 and pursue a PM&R residency. She currently is serving as the Vice-Chair of the AAP Medical Student Council. Her research spans a wide variety of topics related to PM&R including rural rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and interprofessional teamwork. Outside of school, she enjoys coaching youth sports, horseback riding, and is an avid baker. She wishes to acknowledge the dedication of those in the field and her colleagues and collaborators on each project who she thoroughly enjoyed working with.
