Dr. Tae Chung is an associate professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation and neurology at Johns Hopkins. His areas of training and expertise include neuromuscular disorders and physical medicine and rehabilitation. He is a director and founder of Johns Hopkins POTS Program and Autonomic Laboratory which has become one of the largest centers of its kind in the United States. His research interest is in investigating neuromuscular and autonomic dysfunction underlying postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and sarcopenia. His researhc work has been supported by NIH and various patient foundations. He has recently served as a lead PI for two multicenter clinical trials that target post-COVID POTS.
