As a 2 - time Turkey National Team Handball Champion, he is still actively participating in various tournaments as an athlete and medical doctor. Dr. Balkaya's clinical interests include diagnostic MSK ultrasound, interventional spine, and sports medicine. He aspires to be an interventional pain physician.
