Erika L. Trovato, DO, is Associate Chief Medical Officer at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital and Director of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program. She is also Program Director of the Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship program. Dr. Trovato is Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. Her clinical focus is on clinical care and advocacy for patients who have sustained a brain injury.
Dr. Trovato is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Brain Injury Medicine and PM&R. She is a member of several professional societies, including the Association of Academic Physiatrists and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In 2019 she received the Rising Stars – 40 Under 40 award from The Business Council of Westchester and in 2023 she completed the 3-year Program for Academic Leadership through the Association of Academic Physiatrists. She has been awarded "Top Doctors" by Castle Connolly in 2023 and 2024.
