Brief Session Description : The Sideline coverage workshop aims to provide a quick overview of what to expect on the sidelines. This workshop will enable medical students to learn about the techniques, and residents/fellows to enhance their skills and build confidence. This will be an introductory workshop for medical students and intermediate workshop for residents/fellows to practice thinking on their feet, in a short period of time, in a team based scenario while providing care to an injured athlete.

Station A: Concussion assessment: cover SCAT 6, red flags/reasons to pull a player from a game, return to play protocols
Station B: Cervical spine sideline injury assessment: stabilizing the neck, cervical cord neuropraxia.
Station C: Upper limb assessment: stingers, relocation, splinting, fracture assessment.
Station D: Lower limb assessment: relocation maneuvers, fracture assessment, splinting, sprains.
Station E: Sideline use of Ultrasound for E-FAST exam.
Station F: Adaptive Sports station: special considerations, autonomic dysreflexia, pressure injuries and orthostatic hypotension.
